Hallowe'en Treat Bags

The Regency Acres Kids Care Committee is very grateful to the wonderful support and generosity shown by the families represented by Regency Acres PS students.  We had a tremendous amount of chocolate and candy donated, and a great amount of novelty items which are crucial for the three hospitals that received the bags, as they don't want food items.

The recipients of the 2008 Treat Bags are:

Sandgate Women's Shelter, Sutton
Yellow Brick House, Aurora
Blue Door Shelter, Newmarket
Doane Hospice
Southlake Hospital
Markham-Stouffville Hospital
York Central Hospital

A big thank you to the teachers who opened their door to our donation boxes, who had their class decorate the paper bags, and who came to pack the treat bags with their classes.

The recipients are so grateful for the bags.

Thanks to all for making this Hallowe'en memorable for these special children.
